Listen… if you watched Sistas this week (Aug. 27, 2025), you already know we went through it. I swear Tyler Perry must sit in the writers’ room like, “how can I ruin their peace tonight?” 😩 Because babyyy, this episode had me yelling at the TV, laughing, and lowkey side-eyeing half these characters.

So let’s talk about it…
First off, Zac and Karen. Now y’all KNOW that man can’t stay out of mess, and Karen… whew. They finally sat down and had that “real” conversation. And I felt for Karen ya know...postpartum ain’t no joke and Ebony Obsidian played that scene beautifully. But am I the only one who feels like this ain’t closure? Like, I don’t care how calm Zac sounded, I smell another Tyler Perry twist coming. He love to spin the block on old drama. 🙄
Now let’s get into Tamara because BABY she did what needed to be done. She gathered Hayden like Sunday greens. The way she chewed him up and spit him out? Iconic. I was hollering. But also… let’s be real. Hayden petty. He gon’ pop up again with some new foolishness because that man don’t know how to quit.
Sabrina, girl. Maurice and Paige dragged her out the house and said “you single, you sad, we going OUT.” And it was hilarious watching her be awkward and cute, but y’all… I don’t think she’s ready. She still got trust issues, and Tyler Perry love throwing a clown in her path. Can we just let sis have one man who don’t embarrass her? Just one. Please.
And then there’s Andi. Whew chile, she can’t catch a break. Her case hit a wall, and you could see how much it shook her. KJ Smith been carrying that role she be giving us boss lady AND vulnerable sis all at once. But here’s what’s bugging me—what’s this about Zac finding “comfort” somewhere unexpected? Tyler Perry ain’t slick. He’s teasing us, and now I’m over here like… comfort WHERE, sir? With WHO? 🤨
The whole episode just gave classic Sistas—friendship, drama, and just enough laughs to stop us from crying. Some folks on Twitter were saying the pacing was all over the place, but honestly? I was too busy living for the clapbacks and side-eyes to care.
And let me tell you, Twitter was cutting up: half the folks swore Zac and Karen finally closed that chapter, the other half said nope, Tyler setting us up. Everybody and they mama loved Tamara dragging Hayden. And Sabrina? The fans just want her to WIN for once.
Me personally? I think Hayden coming back messier than ever, Zac gon’ be tested again (per usual), and Sabrina either about to meet a King or another certified clown. No in between.
Bottom line—this episode was messy, emotional, funny… basically everything we love about Sistas. Tyler Perry knows how to keep us stressed out.
So… what do y’all think? Is Zac and Karen REALLY done or nah? 👀
