Black History: Kyra Harris Bolden

State Rep Kyra Harris Bolden makes history by becoming the first black woman to serve on the Michigan Supreme Court. Kyra Harris Bolden, who received her bachelors from Grand Valley State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law was appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer and took office on January 1st, 2023.
