Things are heating up online after indie rapper Inde Aquafinaa

  doubled down on claims that Cardi B allegedly lifted the beat from her 2024 single “Five Star Chick” for Cardi’s newest release.

Indeaquafina called out Bobby Lytes, who seemingly chimed in on the situation after industry chatter began circulating. Lytes commented “Girl” under a viral thread discussing the claims, prompting Inde Aquafina to repost and respond, “Not you trynna say something bobbylytes.”

This all comes after Inde Aquafina says Def Jam and another unnamed industry contact reached out to her regarding the track, before Cardi’s single dropped.

Neither Cardi B nor Def Jam has issued a statement, but social media is buzzing with comparisons between both songs as the debate over originality in the industry continues.
