Some People Marketing can be defined as what you say, share and HOW you say and/or share them when you are marketing your good or services.
This marketing definition is defined based on my past experience
In the above definition the word HOW is written in capital letters because that is what determines if you will sell or not, if you make tangible sales you remain in the market but if not you will go bankrupt (it's not your portions)
Types of marketing
Paid advertising
Influential marketing
Content marketing
Relationship marketing
B2C/B2B marketing
Four P's of marketing
1. Products,
2. Price,
3. promotion
4. Place.
Operation
1. You must make sure you have a good product and or service (function, packaging, service)
2. with good price (cost, discount, margin)
3. with good promotion plan (advertising, sale, publicity)
4. must be taken to the right place for Sale (distribution, logistics, Channel)
Facts About marketing
1. Marketing is not predictable , however it is measurable to an extent but you need to set goals
2. 3% of people who visit your site are likely to buy immediately, but the rest 97% buy through retargeting
3. You must know those who need your product or you remain behind
In trying to make sales you need to know that it is a process, your customers need to make a buying decision.
Anyone that is trying to help you sell and he or she is promising heaven and earth, you should know that it's a system ... a process that involves setting up. So if you are a sales person it is better you under-promise and over-deliver than you promise what you cannot achieve.
As a business owner try to see yourself as the first salesman and customer of your company, try to know who your customers are and understand what customer PERSONA means. Put a call through to your existing customers, and ask them what problem they fill your product soul solve that is not solving currently. Do a customer satisfaction survey. Do you research your target audience? Do you know your demographics? With this, you will surely be a step ahead of your competition
