As we head into 2023 it's very prevalent that mental health is a real challenge for many people worldwide or should I say it has been. I personally can say unfortunately this is true. I am speaking from personal experience. And it's hard to find free mental healthcare, even if you have insurance or money to pay. The process is so long especially if it's an emergency, such as a mild episode or major episode.
Oftentimes you have to schedule an appointment, and well, you know how that goes... and if you go to a non-profit or something like that, your wait time may be 4-8 hours and there's not guarantee that you will be okay and have EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Which is scary for so many reasons right? Your family , friends, jobs, careers, businesses, educations etc... right?
Even after the data is there for society to see, it seems to mean nothing. The data speak for itself, take look below to get the bigger picture. Whether it's for yourself and your personal journey or if it's for a loved one, or maybe you are a compassionate and loving person who is looking to gain understanding of people like us, what we go through and how they can help.
31% PERCENTAGE OF ADULTS WORLDWID SAY MENTAL HEALTH IS THE BIGGEST HEALTH PROBLEM FACING PEOPLE IN THEIR COUNTRY.
970 Million PEOPLE GLOBALLY SUFFER FROM ANY MENTAL HEALTH OR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER BECAUSE THEY SUFFER FROM MENTAL HEALTH AND ARE LOOKING FOR A AWAY TO BALANCE THEMSELVES WHICH IS THE WRONG WAY. (NOJUGDEMENT)
AS OF 2021 3.6% PERCENTAGE OF THE GLOBAL POPULATION SUFFERS FROM DEPRESSION
The most common mental illnesses are the ones that are Passed down to people through DNA. Other common mental illness is caused by TRAMA. I personally feel like this is the worst because it's so easy to go undiagnosed.
